“If you are looking for a caring, nurturing, and education based Overnight Infant Care Specialist, Bryn is your absolute go to! Bryn joined our family when my newborn was 3 days old. I was exhausted- sleep deprived and trying to figure out everything that goes into being a first time mom. Bryn was pivotal in my postpartum recovery - emotionally and physically. No question was too small or big for her and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure I was taking care of myself and my baby. She was even able to find me a milk donor when I was transitioning her from formula to breast milk and waiting for my own supply to come in. She honors your own perspective and always comes from a place of insight and experience, but never judgment.

Her education based approach was exactly what I needed and helped my baby sleep through the night within two months! No cry out method or harsh techniques- just soothing and tons of love and care. For those considering her overnight service -do it- and opt to extend up front. We initially hired her for 8 weeks, 3 times a week and extended to 12 weeks, 6 nights a week because of the immense progress our daughter was making (she is now up to 9 hrs of consecutive night time sleep) and the alleviation of sleep deprivation. Bryn is your all knowing source and has established a community of other caring people in her circle that she can refer you to- from sleep consultants to Doulas and always ensures you are taken care of.

My experience with AZ Family Foundations was top notch! Bryn is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and also no nonsense which I loved. It was my first time hiring a newborn care specialist. For nighttime care. At first I was nervous and I can say after 12 weeks it was SUCH a HUGE help adjusting to my third baby. She answered all my questions even the ones I “should’ve remembered” as a third time mom, and she did so with such kindness. Every week I looked forward to her coming and caught myself asking “Is it Monday yet??”

Many other candidates seemed more interested in how they thought things should be rather than working with us and incorporating our perspectives or preferences. She was such an enormous help to us as this was our second child and we wanted to start off with a great foundation with good sleep for our baby, and for us. She supported me as I continued to breastfeed our little one during the night and would bring baby to me to nurse, and made sure that baby was attended to in everything that he needed through the night and early mornings.

Her immense knowledge on all things pertaining to babies and their development was so beyond helpful as our second child had completely different hurdles to figure out than our first, and we were constantly picking her brain on all different subjects as our baby grew in those previous early weeks.

“Bryn is amazing. Bryn cared for my baby full-time for a month when he was 3-4 months, and then again for several months starting when he was 8 months old. The second time was part of a nanny share, so she simultaneously took care of my friend’s 3 month old. It has been the best experience. Bryn is a total professional, both in that she is punctual, a great communicator, keeps detailed notes about the day, but also that this is her profession. She is an expert in taking care of kids, and it is her passion. She has taken tons of trainings. When we had our 4-month pediatrician appointment the doctor told us things that Bryn had already told us, almost verbatim. “I was given the opportunity to try the day services provided by The Family Foundations. We kind of got off to a rough start since Bryn had an emergency last minute and would have had to cancel but was able to find a replacement that came and helped with chores around the house. I have never had a post partum doula before so I didn’t really know what was expected from me or them. I was most interested in the meal prep option since that is one of the things my husband and I hate doing the most. Especially when you add a newborn and lack of sleep on top of regular household duties. Brynn was very apologetic of having to send someone else and offered an extra service to make up for any inconvenience which wasn’t necessary but very much appreciated showing how much she cares about providing extraordinary customer service. “I hired Kelsey for overnights and Bryn for daytime to help out with my 3-4 month old daughter. I had them both help for about 2-1/2 months until my husband returned home from his job.

Kelsey was amazing and so comforting, as I was sort of hesitant with the overnight help at first. She would send me pictures of my daughter over night and send me text updates that I could see in the middle of the night if I woke up and checked. My daughter loved her for sure and she really helped with getting her comfortable with self soothing!

Bryn is just incredible! My daughter adores her and because she got to spend so much time with her (8-2pm MWF) she got to really love her. Bryn helped with a nap schedule in line, helping her get adjusted to her crib, helped with strengthening tummy time and most importantly, really helped me with feeling supported and helped. With my husband being gone for months at a time due to work, I loved having someone I could count on 100% and someone who would go the extra the mile with staying a little later if I needed or even offering to help run errands with me with her.
