Family Foundations was established in January 2023, when the owner, Bryn, transitioned out of long-term childcare as a Nanny, and into her passion — postpartum and infant care.

Family Foundations was built on the dreams of a mother of three, who aspired to support, educate, and care for other women, giving them the postpartum space they deserved. In the first year that Family Foundations was in business, it served over seventeen families. It quickly became clear that in order to meet the growing demand of families seeking support, Family Foundations would have to expand.

It was important to Bryn that Family Foundations mission and values would be passed along through a collective of women who are as passionate, dedicated, and nurturing as she is. Family Foundations has grown into a team of eight full-time Birth, Postpartum, and Newborn Care providers that work collaboratively to bring families education, resources, and hands-on guidance to feel confident and strong, as they grow through the early phases parenthood.

The Family Foundations team is comprised of providers with dynamic backgrounds, personally and professionally. Our team members have experience as Certified and Licensed Nursing Assistants, Certified Clinical Medical Assistants, Board Certified Behavior Consultants, Postpartum Nutrition Professionals, Certified Breastfeeding Counselors, Respite Providers, Home Health Providers, Nannies, and Household Managers.

Even when growing, Family Foundations mission has remained the same: We’re connecting families with elite providers, who will ensure that from the beginning of their parenthood journey, they are building on a strong foundation.
